Microneedling

Microneedling is a non-surgical, minimally invasive skin treatment offered by Adora Aesthetics for reducing visible signs of aging and other skin concerns by stimulating the skin’s natural healing response. Microneedling treatments at Adora are performed using MD Needle Pen®, an innovative device that stimulates the skin. This medical-grade microneedling tool is designed to provide effective and versatile treatments that are tailored to meet the skin needs and cosmetic goals of each patient. In order to achieve maximum results, microneedling therapy may include the deep infusion of active topical solutions and nutrient-rich serums formulated to address specific skin problems. The results can be dramatic when Microneedling and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) are combined. PRP microneedling can accelerate tissue healing and reduce acne scarring. The process of making platelet-rich plasma involves isolating platelets from a patient’s blood using a centrifuge. There is a low risk of the plasma being rejected by the body because it is directly taken from the patient. During this procedure, the patient’s blood is separated into three layers, which can then be used for microneedling. PRP protein and growth factors are involved in cell migration and collagen synthesis.
