What is Kybella?

Kybella is an injectable designed to reduce submental fat. Deoxycholic acid is injected into the fat cells. Kybella can be used in other areas on the face and body to destroy unwanted fat.

When will I see results from my Kybella treatment?

Within four to six weeks of your last treatment, you should see results, with the full effects appearing after eight weeks.

Is Kybella really a permanent solution to my double chin?

Yes! You can permanently eliminate fat cells from your chin by injecting Kybella into it. Once the fat cells under your chin are destroyed, your cells can no longer store fat in those areas.

Will I need any recovery or downtime after Kybella treatments?

Patients can usually resume normal daily activities the next day, but the treated area swells and remains tender for a week or two after receiving treatment.
